Beltane 2008
Thursday 1 May through Sunday 4 May, 2008
At Windtree, in the Soquel Hills
A Radical Call to Spiritual Faeries. . .
Another turn of the Earth and Fair Maiden Spring presents her pleasing curves.
Again teasing nature tempts us,
To remember our temporary bounds and throw off the wool of winter, and unbuckle our wild boys, amazons unfettered and other freely flowing freaks of summer.
Unleash your divine essence and dance delightedly, sing simple and silly.
It is Beltane time.

Here's some more info
Things to Consider
- Arrive by Friday Dinner
This helps us to create a stonger container and get to know each other better. This way we're all there for the opening ritual and heart circle.
- "Don't be a fool, Car Pool" says Cobra
This helps lessen our impact on the Mother, and parking is extremely limited, way more limited than at Johns. Especially if you're not camping (in a tent). Sea Lion has graciously offered to coordinate this: he'll contact you.
- 45, the sacred number
We're capping the gathering, out of respect for the space and each other. So if you want to come, register, and if you register and decide not to come, un-register so someone else can have your space.
- No pets, alcohol nor firearms
We know that your dog/cat/snake is special, but ask you to arrange for a special vacation elsewhere while you're at the gathering.
- Open your heart
The gathering will be a rich for you as you allow it to be. Dare to explore. Consider what this means in the meantime.
- Ask for what you want
Part B of the above.
- Pitch in
We're all volunteers here, and more hands make lighter--and more enjoyable--playbor.
Satyrday night we'll be having a god-ess ball; bring fabulous drag to come dressed as the god or goddess, saint or spirit of your choice or imagination...and if extra stuff calls to you bring extra for someone else!
Steps to pay Online (here)

What is a heart circle? (from RadFae.org)
"Heart circle is one of the central traditions of radical faerie community.
Faeries come together in a circle to speak from the heart, and to listen
to one another through our hearts. Usually a talisman of some kind (a
talking stick, a shawl, a day-glo bubble wand) is used to identify the
faerie who is speaking -- as long as that faerie holds the talisman, that
faerie speaks, without interruption or feedback, and everyone else listens,
with as much attention and compassion as we can muster. In some heart

Yes, the call and newsletter are late. Sorry about that, nothing could be done by the office to hurry that up.
Just a reminder.
