Join Richard Gere, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Tibetan
leaders and other special guests for a historic rally
and candle light vigil in support of the Tibetan
people and their struggle for basic human rights.

As China prepares to host the Olympics in August, the
government is conducting the worst crackdown in Tibet
since the 1960s Cultural Revolution.

Come show your support for the Tibetan and Chinese
people on the eve of the Beijing Olympic torch passing
through San Francisco - the only stop in North
America.

Tomorrow night, a coalition of Tibet groups have
organized a rally and vigil at the United Nations
Plaza on Market Street in San Francisco. They plan to
display the Avaaz Tibet petition on the projection
screens--which has now grown to 1.5 million signatures
from every nation on earth.

I went to the Tibet concert last nite @ 1015 Folsom.
Wonderful music & great DJ's including Cheb I Sabah &
his newer stuff. whoa!

Anyhow San Francisco is the ONLY North American city
that the Olympic torch is coming thru! -- That & that
the Olympics will be in Bejing & Chinese shutdown/no
media allowed in Tibet with unknown rising death death
toll/torturel of some of the world's most sacred
peoples....
Y'all we gotta got out & shout about it!
This is about numbers & our media, the internet. We
will see folks there documenting & post on youtube &
beyond & really flood the internet. If you have
equipment, bring it.
