Santa Cruz Area Radical Faeries

Hai Faeries,

I've been slowly getting small things done up at my land. Some of you have
been helping me, you gorgeous things! This time of year, there's much to
plan, but no real building to do. I'll have a water tank and collection
system in place for the heavy rains, and then, a long dark period to make
plans and drawings.

Meanwhile, before it gets too wet, won't you join me to celebrate?

Sunday, December 2, from 12 noon to 4 pm, I'd like you to join me up at my
place for a little inaugural, "before" celebration. We'll eat, laugh,
drink, and enjoy the sweet air and dappled sun at about 1800 feet above the
beautiful Monterey Bay, visible thru the trees below.

It's not up to me whether the sky will be blue and clear, or gray and
rainy. If it rains, then we should stay home, and I'll think of you, and
celebrate the filling of my water tank, safe in my room in San
Francisco.... But if it's sunny, then I'd really like to be up on the ridge
with you, and share with you my visions for the property, and toast a
remarkable beginning.

Please reply and let me know if you're available that day. I'd like to
coordinate rides from Santa Cruz and from San Francisco, because the
driveway here is soft and steep; much better for 4-wheel drive, and the
driveway will only hold so many cars. It's 20-25 minutes from Santa Cruz,
and about 1 hour and 20 minutes from San Francisco (by 280).

If you can make it, we can observe the angle of the sun, close to the
winter solstice. Then next summer, when you're up there again, you can
observe the mid-summer sun's path. Blessed be, it's sunny up there a lot!
