Hi Faes I'm interested in nailing down a date to go help Elena clean up. I've got a similar number of available folks for this coming Saturday the 14th and for the following Saturday the 21st. Hi Faes, I visited Wind Tree on Saturday before Pride. I took my camera to document the current state of things. The situation is shocking, yet hopeful. Most of Elena's buildings were saved, Blessed be! http://gallery.mac.com/crossgrove#100060&view=grid&bgcolor=black&sel=9 Elena is understandably in need of support, both physical and emotional. I'd like to find a date in June that a group of us can go up to Wind Tree and make ourselves available to Elena to help in any way she needs: re-establishing paths, cutting wood, clearing debris. We can stay there overnight if we like and continue working the next day, or depart as available. If you are free for one or 2 workdays on a weekend this month, please reply and we'll plan to carpool and meet at Wind Tree that day. When we have a date, Elena can let us know what to bring. Most likely we will get very dirty. Whatever it takes!

It's time for me to find a new place to live.  Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

Ideal:
--Santa Cruz Proper, but not downtown
--detached studio, cottage, 1 bed--with own bath and cooking facilities
--Quiet
and away from any obvious "chemical" or off-gassing exposures (not near
laundry, fireplace smoke, natural gas burn-off, pesticides, tobacco
smoke, excessive traffic, factory setting, etc.  (I'm VERY sensitive)
--Older structure would be better (Off-gassed already) with no plans for new construction or painting or termite extermination)
--On-site Laundry and parking
--I have a Sec. 8 Housing Voucher from Housing Authority and am on Social Security Disability so Rent is guaranteed.
--Can pay $800 to $1150 depending on size and quality of the unit

Of course, any combination/permutation of my ideal and existing would be
entertained

Have excellent financial and personal references and do not smoke, drink or drug and quiet.

California Supreme Court decision overturning the ban on gay marriage. Most
of the response they are getting is in OPPOSITION to the court action.

To vote in support of the Supreme Court's decision on LGBT marriage:

     2.     press 1, 5, 1, 1 (these really are the prompts to push)

After you've done this, please send it on to all supporters you know.

Hey Parade Marchers!!

Well, I have decided to have my very first Birthday Party ever this year!!  Francine has graciously offered to throw me a party for my 45th birthday.  Francine will be sending out more info as it gets closer to the date, but I am really hoping that you can come and celebrate with me.

Hi All, a couple of folks have enquired how to do this. You're all welcome to post photos here: anyone who has been checked off (it's a manual process, by me) as a faerie can do it. (can you say spam?)

 Easy, but not particularly intuitive...the price of an understated interface.

Here goes

• Log in, you'll see your name in the left navigation area.
• Click on the Gallery link at the top of the page to go to the gallery
  • Click on the right down arrow icon and choose Add Album

• Fill out the form with Name, title, etc. Note that Name should be lower case letters only, no spaces nor puncutaion.
• Click the Create button at bottom.
• When the page refreshes, you'll see Options to the left. It will look like this:
• • Choose Add Items

• Hee you have several choices.
  • If you're only adding a couple of photos, you can just use the form that's right there.
  • If you want to go ahead and add a bunch, I recommend scrolling the page to the right and choosing Upload Apple
    • You'll get a warning box, see below. Click OK. (I think that this only happens the first time).
    • It will take a few secs.

Make You Divine Headdress/Crown  Playshop 2
Sat. May 31st, 12noon - 8pm
Hammer's Backyard (707 National St.)
Continue making crowns /headdresses and decorate the structures to carry people.
Bring your sack lunch and shiny little things to glue on your headdress (wire cleaners, little mirrors, plastic jewels, etc....)
If you have a glue gun bring it!
We will supply the cardboard and clothe for the headdress structure
Bring some cash to contribute to a run for cheap chinese or a potluck dish to share for dinner

Pride Party
Sat May 31st, 8pm - 12midnight
Shaynala's House (next door to Hammer's)
Bring a potluck dish and something fun to drink for the party.
Dance, drink, eat, chat, socialize to fun music and the magick of faeries coming together from near and far.
